Peter Murray is Vice President of Government Affairs at Health Alliance Global. He is a seasoned Government Affairs Consultant and public servant with nearly 20 years’ experience in public policy, government relations, and regulatory affairs. His career spans both the public and private sectors, where he has represented clients in industries like energy, transportation, healthcare, insurance, and education. Peter has held prominent roles in government, including the White House, U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), and the Florida Senate, serving under three Governor administrations. He worked in education policy and appropriations for the Governor’s Office of Policy and Budget and led legislative affairs at the Florida Department of Corrections.
Peter’s experience includes serving as an Advance Associate for the White House Operations team in 2018 and later as a Special Advisor and Director of External Affairs at USDOT. He managed global policy, legislative affairs, and emerging transportation technologies. After the 2021 administration transition, Peter founded PFM Consulting, where he guides clients through government policy, appropriations, and contracts.
A Florida State University graduate, Peter serves on the Board of Executives for the FSU Varsity Club as well as advisory boards for start-ups in the tech, energy, and transportation industries.
