Dr. Quercia’s extensive clinical and leadership background includes continuing to serve as Chief of Staff and Medical Director of both emergency medicine and hospital medicine at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. There, his emergency department consistently achieves top-tier patient satisfaction scores and is recognized for its exceptional efficiency, throughput and patient care, and is one of the highest-ranking departments in the country. He also serves as Facility Medical Director of Hospital Medicine for TeamHealth. His contributions have been recognized with prestigious awards, including TeamHealth National Medical Director of the Year and Lifepoint Health Medical Director of Year.
A graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Quercia completed his internship at Plainview Hospital, and emergency medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he was recognized as Resident Teacher of the Year for both emergency medicine and across all residencies.
